Sarah Meigs is a native of Huntsville, Alabama and a graduate of Huntsville High School. After graduation, Sarah attended Auburn University where she perused her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. While at Auburn, Sarah was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta as well as an officer of multiple organizations within Auburn’s Center for Community Service. Sarah served as the Community Outreach chair of The Beat Bama Food drive, as well as being an Executive officer of Auburn’s chapter of Alternative Student Breaks. Sarah also held an officer position on the Auburn Student Government Association’s Big Event Committee.  Due to Sarah’s outstanding academic performance and dedication to community service during her time at Auburn, she was awarded one of the largest scholarships offered by Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.

Sarah graduated from Cumberland School of Law in the top 20 percent of her class in May of 2018. While at Cumberland, Sarah was also a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, the nation’s leading journal on the subject, as well as being named to the Dean’s list for 5 out of 6 semesters. Prior to graduation, Sarah also gained invaluable experience while working as clerk to the general counsel of Caribe, Inc., a multifaceted business organization with holdings ranging from telecom companies to real estate development.

Sarah is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Huntsville- Madison County Bar Association.
